ā€œYou are a teacher & artist like no other. I appreciate you & I’m so happy to study with you.ā€

I am an artist at heart & I’ve been in love with movement since I was born. I’ve built & created three studios so far ~ all a direct expression of my my mind, body & soul. My first was a Pilates & Yoga Studio in Newport Beach ~ Villa Pilates & Yoga and it was the foundation for everything. Next was Studio Amor Fati in Los Olivos ~ the studio I created to ground myself & heal. Now it’s Embody in Santa Ynez and it’s magical in an entirely different way.

I danced my whole adolescence ~ competing & spending summers in NYC with The Joffrey Ballet School. I’m sensitive, emotional & eccentric. I started taking Pilates sessions with Rael Isocowtitz when I was 13 ~ at Body, Arts & Science. It was so inspiring to me back then, no one knew what Pilates was and my friend Julienne & I got to take the elevator up to the studio to take our Pilates Sessions on the weekends. I continued to experience the different expressions of Pilates and really became so inspired when my mom let me tag along with her to a boutique studio in Newport Beach called Escape. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Business Administration Bachelors degree in 2008 and also became a STOTT certified Pilates teacher. I taught on the weekends in both Los Angeles & Newport Beach. Since then, I’ve opened three studios, sold two of them, become a certified health coach (I never practice health coaching and never will, but infuse the knowledge into my teachings), completed Yoga & Yin Yoga trainings & certifications, hosted retreats across the globe, wellness series, booked & curated music at a music venue, started my own cooking business and everything in between!

I’ve devoted my life to embodying and examining the connection between the mind, body & spirit. I have a soft & gentle approach, but I’m precise and strong in all my intentions. I truly believe we are all unique individuals made up of a combination of art & science, with a strong baseline of love. I want people to feel fluid in their bodies & build a bridge between the mind, body & spirit. I hope to guide people in finding harmony within their oppositions ~ finding length in their strength, softness in the tension, fluidity in the precision and lightness in all the complexity & depth. Music moves me, so it’s part of my sessions ~ not necessarily to escape, but to inspire, stimulate & feel. My way of teaching is just my expression of Pilates & movement. I will always honor the Masters and the ones that came before me, but I’m going to be me. I respect the practice & am committed to always learning, growing & transcending. I will forever treat Pilates as an art form and respect the science. The real luxury is in the skin. I want people to tap into desire and feeling and move from there.
